Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies are increasingly adopted in cultural tourism as tools for immersive storytelling, heritage preservation, and destination marketing. This paper presents the development of MukahXplore application for Mukah, Sarawak, focusing on Melanau culture and tourism promotion. The methodology combined RealityScan for photogrammetry, Blender for 3D modeling, Darktable for texture refinement, and 360° cameras for immersive video capture. The application was deployed on EON XR, a scalable AR/VR platform, and distributed via a Google Site portal, which was subsequently transformed into an Android application and published on the Google Play Store to maximize accessibility. Results demonstrate that the workflow effectively captured and disseminated Mukah’s cultural identity, while the Play Store deployment enhanced reach and adoption.
