In an era where digital technology plays a central role in daily life, mobile applications offer a promising avenue for promoting healthier lifestyles and deeper cultural engagement. This study explores the design and development of a motion-based gamified mobile application aimed at encouraging physical activity and cultural awareness among Malaysian youth. With growing concerns around sedentary behavior and declining cultural interest among young adults, this project investigates how interactive design can serve as a bridge between wellness and heritage. The research focuses on creating an intuitive and engaging interface that motivates users through game mechanics such as challenges, badges, and progress tracking. The app concept integrates motion-based interaction with cultural storytelling, transforming everyday physical activity into an immersive and educational experience. Utilizing qualitative methods for data collection and user feedback, the research highlights key design components that significantly influence user experience and engagement. Findings suggest that when users feel physically involved and culturally connected through intuitive and purposeful interactions, their overall satisfaction and learning outcomes improve. This study contributes insights into designing effective, culturally enriched, motion-based mobile applications tailored for modern audiences, particularly in educational and wellness contexts.Type Your Abstract Here!
