Malaysia’s tropical climate with frequent rainfall increases the risk of landslides, especially in areas like Ulu Klang. These disasters cause severe environmental and socioeconomic impacts, including property damage and loss of life. This project aims to develop a mobile-based Landslide Early Warning System using Phyton, PHP, and MySQL, integrated with Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) rainfall data. The system monitors precipitation levels and provides alerts to residents when potential landslide conditions are detected. By offering timely notifications and raising public awareness, this application enhances community preparedness and helps reduce the risks and impacts associated with landslides in vulnerable regions.
