CMore is a groundbreaking AI-powered smart glasses solution designed to restore independence, confidence, and connection for visually impaired individuals. In a world where over 295 million people live with moderate to severe visual impairment, projected to reach 474 million by 2050, CMore addresses one of humanity’s most persistent accessibility challenges. In Malaysia alone, more than 220,000 individuals face the daily struggle of navigating a world not built for them, where education, employment, and mobility remain significant barriers.
CMore transforms this reality through an AI-driven “image-to-voice” system that identifies objects, reads printed text, and describes surroundings in real time. It also recognizes familiar faces and supports voice-activated communication, restoring the social connection often lost to blindness. With an integrated personal AI assistant, users can browse the web, summarize information, and receive personalized support entirely through voice interaction. Two models cater to different needs: Model I (RM3,000) for essential navigation, ideal for seniors; and Model II (RM4,000 + RM50/month) offering full AI assistant features for students and professionals.
Developed by Leong Yu Hang and Quek Kia Hau, under the technical advisor Ir. Ts. Dr. Reena Sri Selvarajan, CMore champions SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work), and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), a Malaysian innovation designed to empower all Malaysians and inspire global impact.
