In line with the spirit of innovation highlighted in MAGIEX 2025: Transforming the Future 
Where Industry, Technology, and Education Meet, this research introduces a Smart Digitization 
Records Management System designed to revolutionize the way Government Linked 
Companies (GLCs) manage and preserve their records. The proposed innovation aims to 
replace conventional paper-based recordkeeping with a fully digitized platform that ensures 
efficiency, accessibility, and long-term sustainability. Technological advancement continues to influence how organizations operate, and traditional manual systems are no longer sufficient to meet the growing demand for transparency and fast 
data retrieval. The Smart Digital Records Management System integrates advanced digital 
tools, automation, and secure data storage to streamline recordkeeping processes, minimize 
human error, and strengthen information security. This innovation not only simplifies 
administrative tasks but also promotes environmentally friendly practices by reducing paper 
usage. Furthermore, this project recognizes the importance of staff readiness in ensuring successful 
implementation. By analysing staff perceptions toward digitization, it identifies barriers such 
as inadequate training, resistance to change, and lack of awareness. Addressing these issues 
through structured training and digital literacy programs will improve system adoption and 
organizational performance. Overall, this project represents a step forward in promoting digital transformation within GLCs, 
supporting Malaysia’s move toward a smart and efficient governance ecosystem.It 
demonstrates how innovation and technology can be integrated to create a sustainable digital 
future in line with the objectives of MAGIEX 2025.
